What I Don't Take For Granted This Christmas

1. The first thing I don't take for granted this year is God's amazing love...I know it may sound a bit trite, but God is showing me every day how much He loves me and cares for me, even when I don't feel worthy. It's so easy to feel like God can't show us love because we aren't perfect and disappoint Him so much, but the older I get the more I realized that God delights in giving us good and perfect gifts!

Why I sometimes call it "Micmiss"

It all started out with my brother and art class (a very long story that happened wayy back years ago and nobody can really remember how it got started)...and how everyone would say "mic" all the time. It was always mic this and mic that, like for instance, when they would say McDonalds, they would really emphasize the "Mc" part. Thanksgiving

I'm thankful for him...


Russ and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We took a very short trip down to visit his family in North Carolina. We spent Thanksgiving Day with "the family" doing the normal Thanksgiving activities like eating yummy food, exchanging a few gifts (because we won't be there at Christmastime), watching football, and doing crossword puzzles with Grandma and Uncle Gavin.
